  • What is the background behind lowcollective?
Originally lowcollective was started by a small group of car crazy friends Nathan White, Tom Healey and Gordon Miles. Some of you will have heard and know these guys especially in the VAG scene where they created some of the finest and most photographed cars, gracing many magazine covers over the years. After many numerous car meets organised by the boys it was inevitable that back in 2014, they set up their first car show. The ethos has always been a very chilled vibe, bring together the best cars and people and just enjoy the day. Over the years the show grew and grew with the very last show been in 2019 attended by over 4,000 people and the finest VAG show cars gathered at Stonham barns in Ipswich. Unfortunately, the following year as we know Covid-19 hit and the show was put on hiatus. Tom and Nathan have now stepped away from the show scene and have devoted their times to their families. The rains have been handed over to Gordon, Sean White and Andi Riley. Gordon has always been a part of LowCollective and has been involved in the car scene for over 30 years. Sean has also always been passionate about the automotive industry and was very much involved with LowCollective, helping out on the days and taking some awesome photos documenting the show. Andi has been heavily involved in the scene from his first ever beetle convertible back in his younger days to recently winning numerous awards with his twin turbo rst5 transporter van to his stunning 1972 Audi coupe 100 and numerous other personal projects he builds alongside running his Wakefield based company 'Not just Campers'.
